Yamashita Hobby 1/700 Naval Ship Model Series Tachibana-Class Destroyer 'Tachibana' Kit

This is an unpainted plastic assembly kit in 1/700 scale. Glue and paint are not included. The unique bonding parts of the side steel plate on the front part are also fully reproduced.

The Tachibana class was built by improving the Matsu type in order to increase the capability of rapid construction. The curved structure, which took a long time to build, was changed to a straight structure to further improve mass production. The shape of the bow is a major difference from the Matsu class. The stern was also changed from circular to a straight line called the cruiser stern. 14 ships were completed in about 8 months until the end of the war.
