SHIPPING TIMES

We understand that our customers want their merchandise delivered to them as quickly as possible. Your order is important to us and we will do everything we can to achieve the fastest shipping possible but there are times when, because of unforeseen problems in the distribution chain, your order may be delayed.

THIRD PARTY SHIPMENTS

We cannot accept orders that require third-party shipments. This means we will not ship an order to another individual, i.e. the third party. The shipping address can only be the one that is associated with your credit card's billing address.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING FEES

All Contiguous USA orders will be shipped using either Parcel Post Select, UPS Ground or Priority Mail, whichever is cheaper. All shipping fees shown on your order are default fees. The United States Postal Service and UPS base their shipping fees on the weight, size, and destination of the package. They also charge dimensional shipping fees based on the physical size of the package, regardless of actual weight. This makes it all but impossible to accurately calculate the cost of shipping until we have your order on the shipping table in its carton. In some rare instances, you may be asked to pay additional shipping fees on large over-sized shipments. You will be notified prior to shipping out your order to secure these additional fees. Your order will be held until we receive payment.

We do have 3 different default shipping rates (slightly higher in Zones 7 & 8) based on weight:

Standard Shipping - 0.0 lb – 5.0 lb Default Charge $9.95
Heavy Goods Shipping - 5.1 lb – Default Charge 20.0 lb $15.95
Extreme Weight Shipping - 20.1 lb – Default Charge 40.0 lb $35.00

Multi-Carton and shipments over 40 pounds will be charged shipping on a proforma basis. We will send you a separate invoice for the additional shipping fees. Your order will be held until payment is received.

FOREIGN SHIPPING POLICY

Internet Hobbies ships to foreign destinations using the United States Postal Service and in some cases, UPS International. The customer is responsible for all taxes abd customs fees.

THERE ARE NO BACK ORDERS ON FOREIGN SHIPMENTS. WE WILL ONLY SHIP WHAT IS AVAILABLE. YOU CAN REQUEST US TO HOLD ANY BACK ORDERED ITEMS TO BE SHIPPED WITH YOUR NEXT ORDER PLACE.

There are two rate structures:

Priority Mail International® Standard Shipping - 6 to 10 Business Days Delivery 0.0 lb – 10.0 lb - $55.00
Priority Mail International® Heavy Shipping - 6 to 10 Business Days Delivery 10.1 lb – 25.0 lb - $70.00

All Canadian orders will be shipped using the following rate schedule:

Priority Mail International® Standard Shipping - 6 to 10 Business Days Delivery 0.0 lb – 10.0 lb - $38.00
Priority Mail International® Heavy Shipping - 6 to 10 Business Days Delivery 10.1 lb – 25.0 lb - $50.00

In all cases, we reserve the right to change shipping providers based on the cost, weight, and size of the shipment. Multi-Carton and shipments over 25 pounds will be charged shipping on a pro-forma basis. We will send you a separate invoice for the additional shipping fees. Your order will be held until payment is received.
